Rejuvenating an older Piece of Art!

I brought out an older encaustic painting that had only been exhibited once. I always thought that it had a good feeling about it so decided to enter it in the South Delta Artist guild West Coast exhibition in their fabulous longhouse Gallery 1710 in Tsawwassen BC. To refresh With encaustic, as it is made with hot wax and pigment, I just refreshed the hot wax with pigment from the wonderfully pigmented Pan Pastels and reheated it.I loved the glow from this! Don’t be shy at giving older pieces of art a new breath of life.
This Encaustic piece will be on display for the month of march and if not sold will be available after.
