Wow, turners seas are so dramatic and full of action. On the 15th my husband and I visited the show, Turner and the Sea at Greenwich. It had mainly his large oils which gave me goose bumps. The energy that oozed out was amazing. He had many layers of oil put on with his great expertise. I have enjoyed painting a couple of these as studies. It is an excellent way to learn.
