We all have goals in life and one of my artistic ones was to have one of my paintings accepted into the summer show of the Royal Academy of arts in Britain.
Well when I arrived in Canada a few days ago on my semi annual visit, I received not one but two emails from the Royal Academy saying that both my paintings have been accepted into the second round of judging. I am royally chuffed (an English term). Even if I don’t get further on, this is a winner for me. It is good that my husband has remained in England this time so he can take the paintings up to London for judging.
